The challenge

Radley had a clear goal in mind: improve organic search rankings and visibility, while enhancing performance across US and UK markets. They partnered with IDHL & Fostr, our specialist Shopify agency, with a defined target – deliver a 20% increase in online sales, on time and on budget.

Our teams leveraged a cross-group approach to turn every channel into a growth driver. While optimising paid search and SEO campaigns, Fostr’s design team delivered a Shopify Plus replatform to optimise UX, speed, and conversion.

Our approach

Technical groundwork

An initial SEO audit revealed opportunities for growth, including developing product page content and optimising Meta data. Our performance experts focused on improving search visibility by adding keyword-rich product page content and finetuning titles and descriptions in line with best practices.

Strengthening paid channels

We shifted Radley’s strategy from brand-led to performance-driven, introducing Demand Generation and Performance Max campaigns to reach new audiences. Best-selling products were used to attract buyers and expand visibility beyond branded searches.

Web & eCommerce redesign

Fostr stepped in for a web design and Shopify Plus replatform that matched Radley's luxury aesthetic. UX analysis helped identify conversion friction points, whilst collaboration with IDHL’s Performance team ensured visibility strategy was incorporated in the design. To avoid costly hosting delays, we built a temporary Shopify storefront saving £300k and enabling Radley to trade online during the rebuild.

The results

This project exemplifies the power of partnership and performance. By aligning with Radley’s clear objectives and vision, we achieved significant commercial growth and consolidated Radley’s prestigious identity across UK and US markets. Our integrated approach ensured art direction and UX worked in harmony, never compromising conversions and always maintaining brand integrity.

Testimonials

"Radley’s new website is live and it looks amazing. As a reminder, we met just 20 weeks ago to talk about how it would look and work. Even if we hadn’t been thrown a massive curveball halfway through, this is a huge and impressive achievement but to have done it on a pivot, delivered early AND on budget is a phenomenal result. It has felt throughout like a team project with no perceptible join between Radley and [IDHL], just a common goal"
