Reimagining digital comfort for DUSK

DUSK, a premium home decor brand, faced a challenge: their website no longer aligned with the growing ambitions of their brand. Already using Shopify, they sought a complete website rebuild and redesign to enhance user experience, elevate brand perception, and ultimately increase conversions.

With a primarily online presence, DUSK needed to overcome the lack of physical showrooms and strengthen customer trust.

Understanding DUSK's shoppers

Our first step was to gain a deep understanding of DUSK’s customers. Through extensive UX testing and research, we gathered insights into how users interacted with the site, their pain points, and what would make their shopping experience more enjoyable. This insight-driven approach guided every aspect of the design and development process.

Simplifying the shopping journey

The website redesign was a complete overhaul – moving away from the previous cluttered structure and introducing a clean, intuitive interface. We focused on simplifying the navigation, ensuring that users could easily filter products and find what they were looking for without unnecessary clicks. We also reimagined product pages, showcasing DUSK’s premium offerings with high-quality lifestyle imagery and user-generated content to create an emotional connection with the products.

Building trust and confidence

As DUSK operates without physical showrooms, we integrated elements that would make customers feel more confident in their purchases, such as detailed product descriptions, reviews, and social proof. We also designed a more visible ‘About Us’ section, allowing DUSK to showcase their story and values.

Maximising conversions and cross-selling

One of the major objectives was to increase conversions, particularly by redesigning DUSK’s bundle building journey. Paired with improved cross-selling features, shoppers can now easily see complementary products.
