Based in Northern Ireland and established over 25 years ago, Craigmore is not only one of the largest Karcher and Karcher Service Centres in the UK, but the only one in Northern Ireland. In need of a more scalable, powerfully eCommerce platform, they partnered with IDHL.

The challenge

Craigmore needed a full website migration that would modernise their digital experience and unlock eCommerce capabilities. The existing platform limited flexibility, making it difficult to scale internationally, support traffic growth or build the landing pages required for effective campaigns.

IDHL came onboard to enhance B2B functionality, streamline site management, and improve product discovery for diverse global customer base.

Our approach

Seamless migration

Craigmore was migrated over to Magento 2, maximising its native functionality to deliver a future‑ready, multi‑store platform. Using Magento’s default features for tax, shipping, and currency management, we enabled seamless operations across the UK, Ireland, the US and Australia - without the need for third‑party pricing converters.

Page Builder was introduced to give Craigmore full control over flexible landing page creation, resolving previous concerns around scalability and ensuring the site could handle increased campaign traffic.

Onsite and operational efficiency

Product scheduling, promotions management, banners, and offers were implemented to improve marketing efficiency. Custom functionality was developed to help users locate equipment parts through a quick drop‑down model selector, while improved brand navigation and product videos created a more engaging buying journey.

Operational pressure was reduced via Magento Cloud, offering faster response times and proactive monitoring from Adobe.

Specialised integrations

B2B selling was central to the project, so we enabled specialist functionality including VAT‑exclusive pricing, pro forma invoice requests, and an integrated RMA system that supports a more controlled and transparent returns process.

User experience was strengthened with key integrations: Klarna for flexible ‘pay in 3’ options, Trustpilot migration for onsite visibility of over 5,000 reviews, and Klaviyo to power automated, personalised email marketing.
